If you would like to add your local event to 5 About Town, please take a moment and review our guidelines, then proceed to submit your event. We will review your entry and, in most cases, it will appear online in seven to ten days.
Please read the directions for entering events carefully. If the information you provide is not correctly formatted, it may preclude our ability to post the information.
- We ask that you submit only 'events.' We do not consider a store sale an 'event.' Nor will we list regularly scheduled religious services.
- Events should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the event, but not more than two months before it starts.
- Events will only display online for the month preceeding the event.
- Events must be open to the general public. (This is not designed as a place for club schedules.)
- Events should appeal to a broad audience.
- The events should be family or community oriented. (Please no "R" or "X" rated events.)
- All events should be sponsored by a recognized organization.
- WCSC reserves the right to review, edit and/or delete any event submitted.
- You must provide your name & email address on the lines provided. We do not post this online but will use it to contact you if we have questions about the submission.
